From celebration to farewell, Matches and Despatches is a concert of wedding and funeral favourites - the songs we carry with us through life and beyond.

Performed by the Toowoomba Philharmonic Society Choir and instrumentalists, the program is presented in two halves with an interval.

Time to get serious we! we will start the year working on a variety of pieces for eisteddfod, spring concert and our first inhouse concert for 2026 with music chosen by you! (tba June 2026)

Doors open at 6pm for a 6:30pm start.

Beginning at sunset and unfolding through twilight, Echoes at Dusk is an atmospheric choral experience performed by Philo’s chamber choir Chamberlin. Ancient and modern works are sung in semi-darkness, illuminated by ambient fairy lights.

The Mikado-mas puts a Christmas twist on Gilbert & Sullivan’s much-loved comic opera. Featuring Philo’s performers in full festive spirit, this bright and witty production brings extra sparkle, silliness, and seasonal cheer.
